Buying Atlanta Engagement Rings: Out of Your Pocket or Joint Account?

In 2014, researchers at Emory University in Atlanta found out that $2,000 is the threshold for an engagement ring. Any higher and the risk of divorce gets higher, as well. However, going below $500, surprisingly, also increases the risk of divorce. Therefore, the sweet spot is somewhere in between. However, a year earlier, a survey on The Knot's official Facebook page noticed a spike in the number of couples "going Dutch." Although the naysayers, at 54 percent, dominated the survey, those in favor of splitting the cost of an engagement ring came close at 46 percent. It's a topic, The Knot said, that generated passionate responses.
