Who said drones are only useful for warfare and shipping? During her 36th birthday, actress Zhang Ziyi was surprised with a quad drone which delivered a nine-karat diamond ring to her. Her partner, Wang Feng, a Chinese singer and composer, then proceeded to propose to her the traditional way—down on one knee. No date of their marriage has been made public as of early March. Using a drone to deliver the engagement ring for a proposal is nothing new, however. In December, 2014, a similar proposal at Ipswich Beach was picked up by the local news. Needless to say, on both occasions, the drone delivery worked, and both women said yes.
